PRE-LIGHT:

I love the Brazilian maduro wrapper on this cigar, it's beautiful and has a consistent color from end to end. This cigar is firm all the way down, its not quite 7” long, and I'm hoping to enjoy it as far down as possible.  The bands on this look great, presenting the Sopranos logo at the foot.

THE SMOKE:
Starts off very smooth, sweet, and with a good draw. A great leather flavor, with a touch of nutmeg. The nutmeg is very faint, and not present on every puff.  After I got a few puffs under my belt, some dark chocolate and coffee came into play as well. The burn so far is pretty even, though not perfect, and there is a nice white ash on this end. About 1/3 in and the coffee  and dark chocolate really bring themselves forward, though it's more of the dark chocolate then the coffee. Somewhere between 1/3 and half way, it started burning pretty uneven, and I had to correct it. I gotta say, I'm really loving this cigar, and the Brazilian wrapper really makes this cigar what it is in my opinion. After the half way point, the smoothness, and sweetness  start to disappear. A little bit of pepper comes into play, and I primarily taste the leather and coffee now. Not long after having to take the band off, it got a bit to harsh for my liking, so I called this one done.

OVERALL:
This cigar lasted me close to two and a half hours, so make sure you got the time before lighting one up. This was overall a great cigar that I do recommend, though I'm not going to say it's so good that you should just get online right now and by a box. Wait, take your time, and look for a sale, because it's not quite good enough for it's price point, but well worth it if you can get a good deal.

RATING:
9 out of 10
