Cigar Stats:
Size: 7 x 48 Churchill/Figurado (?)
Wrapper: Cameroon
Binder: Dominican Republic
Filler: Dominican Republic

PRE-LIGHT:

The smell already tells me its going to be very earthy. As i squeeze it I notice it's the same all the way down and around the cigar. It gives a little but not to much, just about perfect. Enough, on with the smoke!

THE SMOKE:

I like the tapered end. It makes lighting very quick and painless. I think it's because of this, that I didn't get that initial "ash" taste like with most cigars. As I predicted in the pre light, it's very earthy almost as if I can taste the grass, dirt, and plants, this is in a good way as I can see how that could sound bad. I had read in a review once that they tasted chocolate and nuts, I dissagree, at least with the chocolate, I can kind of taste a little bit of a nut taste blended in with the rest of the earth taste. This is, of course, all very good. The flavor is bold enough that this is unlike any other cigar I have had (other then other hemingways of coarse) I feel as if this cigar is alive. Hard to explain, it's a very complex flavor that hits you in many different ways. I am also impressed by the draw, it's not the best I have had, but very good. At 1/3 of the way, I still had no need to ash, it's holding on tight. Funny thing is,  if I just sit back and smell the smoke coming off, I do taste a hint of chocolate. However it's not there when I smoke it. So I find myself wiffing in the smoke coming off of it. I would also like to note that if you retro-hale, the earthy tast is more prominent. I didn't find much spice in the first 1/3 but after that it started coming out alittle bit. The earthy taste was still there and prominent. Over all, the taste didn't change much. Leading me to think that next time I will get a best seller simply because, as good of a cigar as this was, it did get old and tiring. Like watching one of those animated . GIF's, fun to watch, but not for long. I didn't really have to ash this until close to half way. By the last 1/4 I decided enough was enough. Fingers were getting a little to close to the end, and it wasnt worth digging out the ear-of-corn handle.

OVERALL:
Very earthy all the way through. Spice came in after the first 1/3. The taste is complex and very enjoyable, but it never changed making it boring after a while. I liked it alot but I think a best seller would be better for me. Can't wait to try the Maduro though. I would also like to note the after taste is the same as the cigar and seems to stay with you for quite some time after the smoke.

RATING:
I give this an 8 out of 10.
